What a night it was! After a rainy, stormy start to the day, we weren’t sure what kind of fishing conditions we’d get—but by tournament time, the skies cleared and gave us a perfect evening for bass fishing. A strong field of 47 teams hit the water, and what followed was nothing short of electric!
We didn’t expect the big bass to show up like they did—but wow, were we wrong. The scales lit up with 7-pounders, 8s, 9s, and yes, another double-digit giant!
🥇 Taking first place in dominating fashion, Thomas Wells and Bobby Babcock brought a monster 3-fish limit of 20.36 lbs, anchored by a jaw-dropping 10.48 lb Big Bass. They took home $1,000 for the win and an extra $230 for Big Bass honors!
🥈 Donnie Mathis and Tim Rake followed up strong with 19.41 lbs, thanks in part to their hefty 8.79 lb kicker, earning $270 for second place.
🥉 Willie Vickers and John Dulaney secured third with a solid 15.55 lbs, cashing in $130.
🏅 Last week’s winners, Cody and Dillion Peters, kept the momentum going, landing 15.41 lbs for fourth place and a $110 payout.
💪 Rounding out the top five, Cris and Justin Tatum weighed in 14.55 lbs, including a beastly 9.08 lb bass, to earn $100.
